OskiFans is an independent fan-run archive of Oski photos and source-linked posts. This policy explains the information used to operate the site and how to contact its operator, @calwokebot on X.
Browsing the site
You can browse without creating an account. OskiFans does not add its own advertising trackers, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or a website submission form. Third-party X embeds have separate data practices, described below. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Delivering a website requires processing technical information. Our hosting and network providers may process your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, request times, referrer information, and security or error logs to deliver content, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. Their retention and processing depend on the hosting service and its configuration. We do not use these logs to build advertising profiles.
The site is configured for hosting on DigitalOcean. See DigitalOcean's privacy policy for its practices. Local previews are served from the preview computer.
Saved Oskis and browser storage
When you save a post, its identifier is stored in your browser's local storage under oskifans-saved-v1. Favorites are not uploaded to us or synced between devices. They remain until you remove them or clear this site's browser data. Search and category filtering run in your browser.
Links, videos, and sharing
X posts, including their photos and videos, are embedded directly in the feed and load automatically as you scroll near them. These embeds connect your browser to X, which may receive your IP address, browser information, and page context and may use cookies or other storage under its own policy. We request X's do-not-track embed option, which does not prevent all data processing. Blocking X in your browser may prevent embedded posts from appearing. Original-source links are also available; following them opens X under its own policy. See X's privacy policy.
The Share button uses your device's sharing feature or copies a post link to your clipboard when you request it. We do not receive a list of your contacts or learn whom you share with.
Messages and submissions through X
If you DM @calwokebot, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your X handle, message, photos, and source links. We use it to review submissions, respond, maintain credits, and handle corrections or removal requests. Messages are handled through X, not stored in an OskiFans account database. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Submitting a photo or link is a request for us to review it for the archive. We may publish the selected photo or source link and its attribution. We do not publish private message text or unrelated personal details without your permission. Operational correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request, maintain attribution, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations; X's own copies and retention follow its policies.
Public photos and source credits
The archive includes information already published online, including photos, creator names or handles, source URLs, and approximate photo dates. These records support attribution and discovery and may include people visible in the original images. We retain archive entries while they serve that purpose, subject to corrections and removal requests. Source creators keep their rights; a link or credit is not a transfer of ownership.
Your choices and requests
You can browse without saving posts or following external links. Clear favorites with the button above or your browser's site-data controls. For access, correction, deletion, privacy concerns, or a photo-removal request, DM @calwokebot with the relevant post URL and enough information to identify the request. We may ask for information needed to verify it and will respond as required by applicable law. We cannot delete copies held independently by other websites.
Tracking preferences and children
We do not track visitors across other websites or use advertising cookies. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site's behavior because that tracking, sale, and advertising sharing are not offered here.
The site is for a general audience. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact @calwokebot so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its date when our practices change. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it before applying the change.
